Delta Live is an award-winning company, based near Hampton Court in Surrey. Now in our 38th year, we are industry leaders who specialise in sound design, TV, events, communications solutions and rental of audio equipment. We’re comprehensive technical solution experts, able to work in any venue, around the world.

Over the years the team and our business have continued to grow, ever evolving, adapting and leading the way within the industry. We are passionate about what we do, and the technology we use. Thanks to our expertise we’ve made a name for ourselves all around the world and have forged great relationships while creating fantastic experiences along the way.

Delta Live is more than just a hire company. We have access to some of the best engineers in the industry, both freelance and in-house. We are also specialists in delivering comms solutions – including classical music, TV, events and technology.

Delta Live works in a wide range of sectors and industries. These include concerts, conferences, events, including corporate and public events, immersive audio, installations and television. Our client relationships are important to us whether old or new, and include productions for London Fashion Week, Britain’s Got Talent and the BBC Proms, whom we’ve been working with for over 20 years. We’re the sound supplier at the Roundhouse in London where we deliver epic live shows every week. Across all areas, we are dedicated to ensuring that each client receives the attention and dedication to excellence that their project deserves.

Equipment rental is also a core element of our business and we continue to invest in our diverse range of rental stock, year on year. Our Delta Live events team are experts in planning, specifying, installing and orchestrating events of all sizes. From intimate dinners to lavish weddings and beyond. We also offer full technical production services to all of our accredited venue suppliers. With an experienced in-house crewing team and a great list of freelancers, we are able to offer the option to crew and operate an event. We also offer complete production support, equipment rental, design, specification and installation, creating peace of mind and ease for our clients. We are constantly working to improve our carbon footprint and increase our sustainability initiatives.

Job description

Roles & Responsabilities
Manage projects from conception to completion, to include but not limited to :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, attending meetings, site visits, and technical briefings as required.
  • Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and project documentation using HireTrack software.
  • Interpret, review, and produce technical drawings, layouts, and equipment plans to support project delivery.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate and handover requirements with internal Crew & Logistic teams.
  • Prepare and maintain Health & Safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legislation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, purchase orders, supplier costs, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Liaise closely with technical teams to ensure Audio, Video, and Lighting solutions meet client specifications and operational requirements.
  • Provide on-site project support and operational oversight during installations, rehearsals, and live events when required.
  • Maintain accurate project records, produce post-event reports, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.

Profile

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional live event experiences. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical project management within the live events, entertainment, or audiovisual industry, combined with strong technical expertise across Audio, Video, and Lighting disciplines.

Key Qualities & Competencies:

  • Project Management Expertise: Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Audio, Video, and Lighting equipment and technologies. Experience with industry-specific software such as HireTrack, TeamTrack, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Soundvision would be advantageous.
  • Financial Management: Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, regulations, and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Organisation & Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Degree in Event Management, Audiovisual Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical project management within the live events, entertainment, or audiovisual industry.
  • IT Skills: Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English, both written and spoken.
