A Christmas Message From Delta Live

Christmas

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice, he’s going to find out who’s naughty or nice…

After the wild ride of 2022, this past year has seen a return to some normality in the live events industry, and another year of exciting developments for Delta Live. As the year draws to a close, we would like to, once again, extend our warmest thanks to all of our friends, clients, partners and colleagues all around the world. In January we welcomed our Head of Projects Julian Jones back into the Delta fold. With Julian at the helm and with your help, Delta Live has helped to deliver fantastic projects like the Coronation of King Charles, The BBC Proms season, Edinburgh Assembly, London International Horse Show, Britain’s Got Talent, The Ukraine Summit, London’s New Year’s celebration and many, many more. Our accredited venues business has continued to flourish under the leadership of Sarah Brundell. Alongside re-accreditations with long standing venue partners such as The National Gallery, The Honourable society of Middle Temple and 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, we also welcomed the newly refurbished National Portrait Gallery and Outernet London to our list.

Meanwhile, The Roundhouse continues to be a jewel in the crown of London’s live music scene, and through our long-term partnership we delivered another eclectic slate of amazing artists including: Young Fathers, Pixies, Burna Boy, Ellie Goulding, and a wide array of events, awards and corporate dates.

Finally, in May we were proud to add Delta Live to the growing ranks of Living Wage Employers.  This means that every member of staff working for us across the business earns a real Living Wage. Over 12,000 organisations, including Delta Live, voluntarily choose to pay the real Living Wage because we believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. We followed up that announcement with introducing two qualified Mental Health First Aiders to the team to better support our team in everything they do. Just two more steps on our journey to Make Delta a Great Place to Work.

Once again, we have chosen to celebrate our achievements by ‘gifting’ charitable donations. We asked our Delta team to select the causes closest to their hearts and they chose:

  1. Beat – The UK’s Eating Disorder Charity
  2. Back-Up Tech – The Technical Entertainment Charity
  3. Alzheimer’s Research
  4. Women In Mind
  5. Alexander Devine and Princess Anne Hospices

We are extremely proud to support these causes with your help.

Our offices will be closed from Friday, 22nd December 2023, and we will reopen on Tuesday, 2nd January 2024. If you should have any urgent enquiries during the holiday period, please call the main office number (+44 20 8339 3800) and you will be redirected to the out-of-hours service.

As always, we hope your holidays are filled with good friends, good food, and of course most importantly, good sound!

Merry Christmas from everyone at Delta Live and we look forward to reconnecting in 2024.
