Delta Live has a proud history of delivering many of the most important events and ceremonies in the history of the UK. We've been at the forefront of delivering unforgettable live experiences that live long in the memory. From the Olympic Games to very special Royal birthdays, see some of the spectacular events we are particularly proud to have been involved in.

1988

Delta Live is founded in August 1988 by Mark Bonner and Paul Keating in Weybridge, Surrey as Delta Sound. The company's first paid job was a corporate event for battery-maker Duracell.

1997

Hong Kong Handover Ceremony. Delta Live delivers sound design, project management and equipment for the ceremony to transfer Hong Kong back to Chinese control in 1997

2000

The BBC Proms 2000 Season. The new millennium marked Sound By Design's first involvement in The Proms. A relationship that Delta Live cherishes to this day.

2006

Delta Sound Dubai launches, led by Andy Jackson, servicing clients across the Middle East and specialising in large-scale events & concerts. Delta Sound Qatar follows in 2009.

2008

After collaborating on a variety of projects, Delta joins forces with Fred Jackson's JAL (Jackson Audio Ltd), expanding its activity in the TV & broadcast industry.

2009

Delta aquires production and classical music specialist Sound By Design, offering clients of both companies the significant benefit of their complementary skills sets and combined equipment portfolios.

2012

Games of the XXX Olympiad. In 2012 Delta Live took on its largest project ever when it was appointed main audio supplier for the Olympic Games in London.

2014

XXII Olympic Winter Games. Delta Live completes its Olympic 'Full House' by supplying sound solutions to The Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia

2018

Desperados Deep House is Delta's first underwater event, an epic party in the Y-40 Deep Joy Pool in Venice, the deepest pool in the world.

2019

Delta Live joins the L-Acoustics Group of Companies. After many years of working together, L-Acoustics completed the acquisition of Delta Live in 2019.

2022/23

Three Historic Royal Events in one year. 2022 began with The Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and sadly ended with Delta providing support for the Royal funeral. 2023 dawned with a happier event, as Delta was involved in the celebrations for the Coronation of King Charles.
